And The Winner Is…

After weeks of reading, reviewing and heated debating the winner of this year’s NETBA was finally announced to massive cheers and applause as

Berserk by Ally Kennen.

The announcement was made at the award party at the Centre for Life, Newcastle on Friday evening in front of almost 300 students aged 14-16 from schools across the North East, their librarians, teachers and parents and of course all the shortlisted authors.

A huge thank you to all the authors, publishers, librarians and teachers and to Borders for providing the brilliant bookshop.
